Gynecomastia

Men may have an excess of breast tissue called gynecomastia due to a variety of medical conditions, medications, or from unknown causes. Surgical treatment by excision of the breast tissue and excess skin is sometimes called male breast reduction.  In most cases skin excision and the resultant scarring can be avoided by removing the excess breast tissue with liposuction techniques using ultrasound liposuction known as VASER, or LASER liposuction known as Smartlipo.

These advanced liposuction technologies limit the need for scars to short access incisions for the theses pencil thin devices to remove excess tissue, or may be combined with limited excisions depending upon the patient’s individual problem.

PAL (Power Assisted Liposuction) helps to remove firm breast tissue, and is often used in combination with VASER, or Smartlipo.
